Lay out the clean pants on a flat, stable surface.

Take a pad out of the package gently.

Press down gently on the Sposie Dribbles pad to adhere it to the inside of the pants. The adhesive on the back of the pad will help keep it in place.

My Sposie Dribbles pads experiment

It is supposed to be able to hold over 90ml of urine. I had to test that myself using some homemade saline solution before popping them on my daughter!

Here I am conducting my little experiment:

Sposie Dribbles vs 90ml Saline Solution Experiment

Result

Bearing in mind that your toddler will not be weeing an entire 90ml all at once and certainly not onto only one spot on the pad in less than a minute, I’d say the pad held up amazingly well! Infact, I had closer to 95ml in that measuring cup so must have poured more than 90ml.

It took a bit of effort squeezing the pad between my palms to get it to drip any of the solution out.

The training pants were slightly damp to the touch but I suspect that was from a slight spill from the cup while i was pouring the solution a little too fast onto the pad.

They absorb very well while also helping your child make that mind-body connection during accidents

I would recommend that your little one has traveled at least some part of the potty training road before you try these Sposie pads on them.

I wouldn’t say they’re suitable for your first few weeks of potty training!

They are perfect for a child who has already begun potty training and has almost but not quite gotten the hang of things.

For example, if your child is day time potty trained but not so for during the night, Sposie Dribbles is a kind way for both you and your child to complete the potty training journey. Let them use it for night time and avoid having to clean up messes in the middle of the night or having a child who is very upset because they have soaked themselves completely after a night time accident.

I imagine that a scenario in which these Sposie pads would become invaluable is if your child has a sleepover and feels embarrassed to wear a diaper or nappy around their friends.

These pads are discreet enough to insert in their underwear before you send them off and depending on their level of independence, they could easily remove the pads if they needed to.

From my experience with Sposie Dribbles so far, I’m very impressed with the level of absorbency of the pads considering that they look so thin. I didn’t think my initial saline solution test would allow for any more than about 50ml of liquid to be absorbed in one go.

I would absolutely recommend it as a helpful tool for potty training.
