I don’t post very much on Instagram. Facebook is more my jam. However, I do follow quite a few black moms on Instagram whom I can relate to. The same on YouTube.
In this list, you will find some great black moms to follow on Instagram and YouTube and any other social platforms they are present on. There is someone for every kind of black mom on social media. Black moms to follow on social media
Here are some of my favourite black moms on social media:
1. That Midlife Mama Donna
I’m not entirely sure how I stumbled upon Donna on Facebook but I’m so happy that I did. I love her candid posts about her daily life with her beautiful family and her honesty about having a daughter in her 40s as a single mama. If you are searching for black single mom blogs, this is it for you.
2. Tiffany Davidson
What a beautiful family Tiffany has. She shares her life on YouTube and on other social platforms like Instagram. Tiffany has a daughter and sons and along with her husband, she shares bits of their daily life which include anything from fitness to family holidays. Having followed them for so long, it’s been great to see her kids grow up so nicely.
3. Leah Egwuatu
Leah is another wonderful black mom to follow if you are interested in fitness. Even in pregnancy, this mama is amazing for her fitness consistency and being an inspiration to us black moms who struggle with keeping up with exercise and healthy eating when we have kids to keep up with. She and her husband have 5 lovely kids.

4. Raven Elyse
On the hunt for single mom blogs? Raven’s YouTube channel is a good one to follow for inspiration on things that kids enjoy. Particularly if you have a little girl around her daughter’s age. She has good ideas not only for home furnishing but also for daily routines and clothing and food shopping. She also has a podcast where she shares a bit of her life as a single mom that will no doubt provide some comfort to other single moms.

5. Khadeen Ellis
If you are one of those who have been following the Ellises for a long time, you will no doubt feel as proud of their progression and success as a family as I do. They are an honest, wholesome family pursuing their dreams and inspiring married couples to do the same. If you need black families on Instagram to follow, Khadeen and her family are a wonderful choice. I love how open they are about marriage with children and the work you need to put in to make your marriage work. They have four beautiful boys.
6. Tabitha Brown
I’d be surprised if you do not already know about Tab but I suppose it is possible that some people do not know her! Yet another amazing example of how far a black mom can go with determination and God’s blessings, Tabitha’s incredible success is inspiring and her many years of experience as a wife and mom will give you plenty of food for thought about the importance of God in navigating daily life as a wife and mother.
7. Angel Laketa Moore
Angel is hilarious and really honest about motherhood, honing your craft and pursuing your goals. Follow her YouTube channel and her Instagram account (along with her husband’s) for funny and very relatable content about marriage and motherhood. Their family is definitely one of those black families that are not only cute to watch but also, Angel and her husband are down to earth and easy to relate to. She has four lovely boys.
This list of black moms to follow on social media will be updated as often as I can.
