In trying to get a proper feel of our new environment, we determined to consume as much authenticity as we could. By that, I mean literally sticking to authentically German menus where possible. I must say, living in Bonn, I’m finding that it’s not the easiest thing to do. Apart from great pubs/bars, the majority of restaurants we see around us are either Italian or French. I’ll have to resort to trying out some German recipes at home myself.

Have you got any German go-to recipes that are extremely easy to prepare?
